Offering of Lamps to Dispel Darkness

May the vessel of this butter lamp become equal to a thousand times a thousand universes!

May its heart become equal to Mount Meru, the king of mountains!

May its light illuminate the worlds from the top of their summits down to the very bottom of the Avici hell realms!

May these butter lamps appear and spread in front of the eyes of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions and of the three times!

The darkness of the ignorance of beings' minds having been dispelled, may the clarity of the great purity, primordial wisdom, radiate!
