Hi Everyone,
There is lots of new news from the DGK nuns in Kathmandu, which we need to forward to all of you.
After the Duddul Phurba puja there where lots of events and goings-on that we successfully carried out. There was Zangchod bum in Swayambhuaath ( Budha Park) on 28th Feb-3rd March 2010. Which started from morning 6am- till 7pm and continued on for four days.
Then after that we had birthday celebration for our root guru His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa on 5th March 2010 along with Live to Love Program which was organize by DGK Office staff and was performed by village school children for His Holiness as a birthday gift offering.
After those programs we had an eye camp organize by His Holiness on 6th March till 8th March for all the poor people who could not afford the particular treatment of their various conditions. There were approximately 200 people from different villages around Kathmandu that had come for their eye treatment. After the treatment was over, all the patients were very happy they were singing and dancing etc. Giving special thanks to our root guru His Holiness and all their respecitve sponsors for giving them a very new bright world. We all were also so happy for our great success for their new life and especially for our success in this program which was all because of our Holiness.
As soon as all this was concluded and the big clean up of the clinic and grounds, all of our nuns were very busy for the preparation of 2nd ADC which is approaching in the very near future. All our nuns from Ladakh as well as Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo and her 70 nuns have also recently arrived here in Druk Amitabha Mountain for the program of the Drubchen and the 2nd ADC. And very soon Sengedag Rinpoche’s nuns are also arriving here in Druk Amitabha Mountain.
All the DGK Nuns are working together very hard for 2nd ADC so that everything can run smoothly and well for all the people and we all are very eagerly waiting and excited for ADC come.
