JIGME ODSAL LHAMO
My
name is Jigme Odsal Lhamo. I was studying in Class 12, and at that
time I knew nothing about Dharma. Suddenly one day Tsawei Lama (H.H.
the Twelfth Gyalwang Drukpa) arrived in Garsha, my hometown. I
prayed immediately to Tsawei Lama a thousand times in my mind that
he would give me a chance to learn Dharma. With the blessing of
Tsawei Lama, I got that lucky chance. On 11th July 2005, my hair
was cut by the holy hands of Tsawei Lama. At that moment, I felt
that I was the luckiest person in the world, and I offered my
whole life at Tsawei Lama’s feet.
I think that I am doing something good in my life. My family members feel the same way. They bid me farewell happily as I became a nun and came here to Kathmandu. I am so happy here in the gompa. I know how to read Dharma text also, and hopefully I will soon be enlightened. I hope that one day my dream will come true.
In the month of September this year, we are going to Garsha In Himachal Pradesh with Tsawei Lama. So these days we are learning special texts. I am so excited about it already. I am happy here doing my practice. But sometimes I am afraid that I am not completing my Dharma practice well. I think it would be so shameful for me if my Dharma practice is not completed. Tsawei Lama takes a lot of troubles for us, if we can’t do our Dharma practice, it is very bad karma. We are beings who have gone, may our Lama forgive our mistakes and show us the right path.
I don’t know what will happen in future. Even then I think that I should forget everything my past and I will completed my Dharma practices with pure heart, respect to elders, kindness to all being and not to hurt others.
Please Tsawei Lama don’t leave us and stay with us forever. I am here with Tsawei Lama, I don't need any better place in the world. Thank you very much for taking us in your shelter . I pray to Tsawei Lama that may all beings obtain happiness. May all being be free from sorrow and cause of sorrow. Bye.
JIGME RANGJUNG LHAMO
I
am Jigme Rangjung Lhamo, 12 years old. I offer my hair to Tsawei Lama
on 10th July 2005. That moment was a new pleasure to my heart when
I put on nuns' robes. I like nuns' robes very much. These days I
am in Retreat (tsam) we are practicing Nyungnay and Chod.
Before becoming a nun, I was in Class 5. When I was in Class E, I already wanted to become a nun. When I first saw Tsawei Lama, I felt that he was like my parents. I hope my Dharma practice would be completed. If I could not complete my Dharma practice in this life, I pray to Tsawe Lama that I will be given one more chance to become once again his student so that I will complete my Dharma practice. I like gyaling very much. So I want to be in charge playing a gyaling in future. These days I am learning Tibetan due to the kindness of Tsawei lame. My parents sent me to Nepal for learning Dharma. When my Dharma practice is completed, then I will go home, and I hope to help many of them.
JIGME NAWANG DOLKIT
My
name is Nawang Dolkit. I was doing hard work at home . From small
I was eager to became nun. That time my parents refused to send me
away to be a nun, so I was very upset. With the blessing of Tsawei
Lama, I became a nun and after that my heart has been very happy.
Furthermore, I want to become a successful nun. When I will know
the meaning of Dharma, then I want to talk to other people about
Dharma. And then spread Dharma more and more.
These days, I am in (tsam) retreat. We learnt text and many things in tsam. I am very happy. With the blessing of Tsawei Lama, I have finished one set of Ngondro practice. And I want to do more good (Ngondro) preliminary practice in future. Wish me good luck (fortune).
CHHOPEL TANZIN
My name is Chhopel Tanzin. In my childhood I lost my parents. I did not even go to school or study even one class. I became an orphan. Then I decide to join shelter of Tsawei Lama as a nun. After losing my parents, I lost my all happiness. Now I am nun of my respected Tsawei Lama whose blessing is always with me.
Now I never feel that I am helpless. I am so happy here. This is my second years of nuns' life. These days I am doing Ngondro practice in retreat. I will always try to help all beings in the world.
JIGME YUDRON LHAMO
12th
August 2005, that is the happiest moment in the days of my life.
When I offer to my whole life at Tsawei Lama's feet, that day I
became Jigme Yudron Lhamo from Padma Lhamo. I changed my life
direction. I gave up the life I spent with my parents, sister,
brother and friends. I became nun . My family members were very
happy for me to make this decision. My mother told me, "You
have done some good work in your past birth, so you get a chance
to do Dharma practice in this life as a student of Tsawei Lama,
which is very rarely happening to others."
In my childhood I always think about becoming a nun. But I don’t get a chance. Five years ago, some tragedy happened in my family. That tragedy gave us big shock and grief. My mind was always unquiet and unhappy. Then my mother always talked to me about Dharma. There is a big hand of my mother to becoming nun, Thanks to my mother forever!
Before nun's life, I was doing service in I.C.D.S. office. I had finished my study also. On 11th July 2005, Tsawei Lama arrived in my village in Garsha (Lahaul), I felt that Tsawei Lama came to take me. I was always thinking that my life is useless. Why I come to world? But now I have come to know importance and value of my life. With blessing and love of Tsawei Lama we haven't got any trouble and difficulty here. During the first retreat in my life, I can’t explain how good I felt. And now I even want to spend my whole life in tsam which means meditation, practicing retreat and want to know about meaning of the life (Dharma).
These days I am working as a secretary in Tsawei Lama’s office on Druk Amitabha Mountain and I am learning computer also doing quite well. I think nothing more for future. I will try to obey the instruction of my Tsawei Lama till my last breath. I want to practice Dharma with pure and true heart. When I will able to help others, I will never step back. My last wish is that I want to take my parents with me in my future lives wherever my root Gurus are.
When I was coming to Nepal, my family member and relatives eyes were filled with tears. But those were happy tear. They were not only so glad for me but also a bit jealous, I guess.
I came to Nepal with much blessings and good wishes of my family members, friends and relatives. When I reached Druk Amitabha Mountain, I felt that I was in paradise. Other people find heaven after death. But I find heaven on the earth...Druk Amitabha Mountain.
I pray to Tsawei Lama to give blessing to fulfill my dream, to never separate me from the blessing of Tsawei Lama. And all my future rebirths will be under the shadow of this Tsawei Lama, following in Tsawe Lama’s footsteps.
